Episcopal Diocese of Wanyjok Launched its First Diocesan Website
Wanyjok, South Sudan Sunday, 20 September 2026 The Episcopal Diocese of Wanyjok today launched its first official Diocesan website during Sunday Service held this morning at St. Paul’s Cathedral. The historic event marks a significant step forward in strengthening the Diocese’s online presence and digital communication. The new website is expected to serve as an important platform for sharing the Diocese’s activities, ministries, announcements, events, sunday sermons and other information with members of the church and the wider community. The launch was a joyful and memorable occasion bringing together church leaders, clergy, lay members and the entire congregation who celebrated this important milestone with thanksgiving and enthusiasm. The website will help connect the Diocese with its members both locally and around the world by providing greater access to information about its mission, ministries, programmes and activities. Speaking during the occasion, church leaders expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the development and successful launch of the website describing it as an important tool for advancing communication, evangelism, fellowship and the mission of the Church in the digital age. The launch of the website therefore marks not only the beginning of a new chapter in the Diocese’s communication but also a step toward embracing technology in spreading the Gospel and strengthening the connection between the Church and its people. To God be the glory for this historic milestone. ~ END
